Here's a small update to my self portrait - I've done more work on the blouse and the curtains, and I will tackle the hand next.

Have you kept the hands unstarted for a reason? This must be stunning "live" the size adding to the impact.
Thank you, Sheona. This piece is about life-size. The only reason I haven't started the hands yet is so that I wouldn't smudge them across the shirt!

What pencils do you use on Fisher? Which ar your favorite flesh colors?
Thanks, Nicole. I like Prismacolor, though I also use some Faber-Castell Polychromos if I can't find the right color. With colored pencil, I like to use a rainbow of colors layered to create skin tones, rather than just "peach".
