New Paintings
I just had my two most recent paintings scanned, both 20x16, oil on panel. You can also see them on my website here and here.

Everything looks amazing! It's interesting to hear you describe your colored pencil process. I like that you approach CP the same way an oil painter approaches the canvas. With the faster larger technique that you're describing, do you ever have trouble getting subsequent layers to cover evenly? What kind of paper do you usually use? Thanks Holly, your work is really beautiful!
Thank you, Katherine! I do have trouble with subsequent layers covering evenly, but I really tend not to worry about that until the very final layers. Usually I work on sanded paper which is very forgiving in this sense (almost like working with pastel), but for my latest piece I am working on regular paper (vellum), and I am finding that I need to be more careful about reserving white/light areas.
