I just returned from getting a scan of "After the Rain", 24" x 18", oil on Pastelbord. This image is much more like the original than the photo I posted earlier... thank goodness for Image-Tec!

Very beautiful piece! Your oils are wonderful.
Very nice painting Holly. I had some pastel board and just muyself tried an oil on it. I first sanded it lightly and found as you mentioned it works best if you put the oil on sparingly. I actually liked the way it worked. I just posted it on my blog. A landscape with clouds. Anxious to try more.
