Here you can see my progress on the self portrait I'm painting from the mirror. This is much closer to what I want, though there are some real rough spots still. I think that perhaps one more day should do it.

This is my first visit to your blog and I'm absolutely blown away by your work! There are too many favorite paintings here for me to comment on. Let's just say you have a new avid fan! You make me want to put my oils away and try Colored Pencils. I also really appreciate your posts that go into explanation or insight on why and how you approach a piece.
