AAPL Grand National Acceptance

I am excited to have learned that my colored pencil piece, Spring, has been accepted into the American Artists Professional League 87th Grand National Exhibition. The show is at the Salmagundi Club, and runs from November 8th through November 20th, with a reception Sunday, November 15th from 12-5pm.

Upcoming Exhibition at Haynes Galleries

I am thrilled to announce that I will have four pieces on view at the Haynes Galleries upcoming exhibition, "Celebrating Art of Women by Women" at the Haynes Gallery in Thomaston, ME. The show will include paintings, drawings, and sculpture by women artists and runs from August 14th through September 19th.

I will be attending the reception, to be held on Friday, August 14th from 5-7:30 pm. My artwork to be on display is: Self Portrait with Martini (shown above), Quiet Moment, and On a Crisp Day in colored pencil, and Olivia in oil.

Whistler House Museum of Art Members Exhibit

I just found out that my oil painting, Sophia, has been accepted into this year's Whistler House Museum of Art Annual Juried Members Exhibit. CPSA Award

I am so thrilled to announce that my colored pencil portrait, Elise has won an Award for Outstanding Recognition at the 22nd Annual CPSA International Exhibition! I just returned from the exhibition in Ormond Beach, FL, and I was really blown away by the artwork on display. The show continues through August 25th at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens.

Greenhouse Gallery Salon International

I am thrilled to announce that my painting Danny has been accepted into the Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art Salon International 2014 exhibition! Award at WHMA Members Exhibition

I am so thrilled that my colored pencil drawing Elise was announced the Winner of the Edith Burger Award for Artistic Excellence at last night's reception for the Whistler House Museum of Art Members Exhibition! Above is a photo of me by the piece, as well as my wonderful model, my sister, Elise.

I also had an oil painting accepted into the exhibit, Father and Son, pictured above with my other two wonderful models, my husband and son.

I just found out that my portrait Danny has been accepted into the 2012 Whistler House Museum of Art Annual Members Exhibition.  I look forward to this exhibition every year, as the Whistler House is a beautiful venue, and the members and staff are all very nice. 20th Annual CPSA Exhibition

I'm so excited that my piece A Second Cup has been accepted into the 20th Annual CPSA International Exhibition! This is my fifth year in a row being accepted into the exhibition. This year's exhibition will take place in Covington, KY, with over 120 colored pencil works on display. For more information, see cpsa.org.

Honorable Mention at CSOPA Exhibition

I attended the reception for the CSOPA Faces of Winter Exhibition on Friday, and the portraits on display were really amazing. I am thrilled that my portrait Danny was selected to be a part of the exhibit, and also to have been awarded honorable mention. I was especially excited to see one of Daniel Greene's paintings on display in addition to the portraits selected for the exhibit.
